    Ever been launched by sponge? Accidentally running into the map boundary and got spammed?
    Well I know how it feels.
    I think we should tone down on the map boundary spam. Look at the picture below:
    Do you think we need to be told this many times in a matter of seconds that I reached the map boundary?
    I think we should have, "You have reached the boundary of the map!" pop up after a time of 10 seconds instead of it flooding the whole chat in 4 seconds.

    I agree, being spammed sucks because you can't see what your friends are saying or what has been said in Global etc..

    If you don't want to be spammed with these messages, until a fix is done, you can world edit a wall of transparent barrier blocks on the limits so you don't get these messages at all.
    But I agree with you, it's not necessary to recieve that many messages.

    Maybe instead of sending stuff in chat, it can just appear as text above the hotbar, like where the ctf ending of killstreak text was.

    The action bar - I think putting it on the action bar would be a good solution, or possibly making the barrier a wall of barrier blocks that are unbreakable?

    I like the idea of the actionbar. Having barriers wouldn't be too useful because worldedit can still destroy them and you can fly over them aswell. Not to mention they cause quite the fps drop in large amounts.

    also if your map was expanded you would have to either code them to break and be pushed back to new radius limit or something

    I like the ideas that you guys are posting.

    What if there was a way to toggle seeing the wall the way you could see it in that Slither gamemode?

    I like the action bar thing as well.

    I was thinking about brawl adding a way for u to see the boundary. Maybe u could do a command for it to be shown or not.

    Or possibly if you were launched out of the map by a sponge, it would teleport you back to the spawn of your world.

    Why even is there a boundary? though 1+ because this needs to be removed with maybe something like what @Xelasi or @xxMineSheepxx said

    It seems more logical to me to be able to fly arround freely, but to make a buildable zone, kinda like a plot from the old creative, exept bigger.
    This way, I would be able to look at my build even if it touches the barrier. (and I don't really get why we can build outside of the zone too)
    The only problem I see would be that a player flying outside the zone would generate chunks and take more storage to save the map.
    If a barrier is really necessary, it could be placed something like 50-100 blocks out of the build zone so we can look at our builds without being stuck to them.
