Mage should be nerfed.

    CTF is a team game, if no single player is able to take down a person who is a god at Mage. one can be battling the mage and the other can come up behind it as an assassin or ninja and take them down. Hence forth creating a team building game by attacking in a 2v1 or 3v1 (groups) which take coordination and well a team play. I certainly don't think mage needs to be nerfed or buffed in anyway. There are other possible ways to take out a mage by a single player such as Archer and headshotting them.

    imagine nerfing a class because it can handle a 1v1 in a team-base game..lole

    mage is not brigitte, mage cannot 1v6 the enemy team

    Mage is just annoying, cant even capture the flag if there are 5 people in the enemy flagroom while skilled heavies and elves can. I don't understand why people want the class to be nerfed. You can just run away from the class and yes i do play mage.

    A skilled elf will have less trouble than most other classes controlled by skilled players in grabbing the flag from a crowded flag room, I agree there completely. Heavies would have trouble grabbing the flag if any one of the 5 was a skilled mage though. Nobody can run anywhere when that ice block is followed up with a well-timed fire spell...and running away in most CTF situations can't really happen often if the mage isn't being killed by others and YOU'RE the target the mage is chasing down, lol. You know this, you play mage. You know how easy it can be to catch up to someone who's trying to run away. :-D

    Some classes are more slippery than others, sure. Medics can leave a trail of webs and they aren't slowed down by catching on fire. Elves, soldiers and ninjas all have decent ways of avoiding a mage if they choose to increase the gap, but any class other than another mage going against a mage without help around for either player is going to run out of resources - and the mage will not. If a mage can buy enough time, they can always fully recover as if they had just stepped out from spawn...even on the opposite side of the map potentially.

    I suggest no major nerf, but some kind of adjustment at some point to address the fact that quite frankly, medics cannot help mages refill anything at all. The only help a medic being near a mage would offer aside from being another target for enemies and a bit more damage output would be healing the mage between heal spell cooldowns - IF they'd even be needed...lol.
