Special weapons in war 2?

    Heyo, i had a few ideas for special weapons if and when they return to MC war, and i wanted to share them! All of them would occupy a primary weapon slot

    first is a nade launcher called "Thumper." Fires arcing projectiles that explode with the same radius as a regular frag, but only deal half the damage. Fires once every second, 1 rounds per clip, with 20 reserve. 2 sec reload. You need to scope to fire the thumper, the recoil is too hard to take without your shoulder. If you hit somebody directly it will push them backwards, but if you are point blank the explosion will damage you too, as to prevent corner camping, ulocked at lvl 45 for 18000 creds.

    Second is a riot shield, nickname "Bastion." When held gives slowness one, Hitting the shield with a knife or your gun will disable it for 3 seconds. The shield does not block any explosions whatsoever. when you hold it you become invincible from whatever side you're facing, (if you're wondering how i would do this, personally, i would change the zombie skin to a riot shield and stand it in front of the person holding the shield. but this is the only working theory i have to make any weapon work.) it can absorb overall 2000 damage (knife damage not included) then breaks permanently until you respawn. unlocked at lvl 57 for 2200 creds.

    Third is a flamethrower unlocked at lvl 55 named "Draco." It fires like a shotgun does but with crazy wide spread akin to, or even above the p90, After 5 blocks the projectiles stop, and they only deal half heart damage to players, not including the leather armour all players get. they also apply a fire status. Players hit with a draco will burn much longer than a molotov, roughly 4 seconds burn time. A draco user caught in any sort of explosion will die instantly as their gas can ruptures, this will leave molotov-esque fire on the floor for a few seconds

    Last is for lvl 66, A re-curve bow named "Whisper." Left click once to load (takes 2 seconds) then again to fire. Overall you get 30 arrows for the bow. projectile arcs like a regular minecraft bow and travels at the same speed. If you hit an enemy it takes 2/3 of their health. Headshots do apply but are not instakills, instead taking 4/5ths of health. getting hit gives enemies slowness 1, Using Whisper makes your firing, footsteps, and reloading sounds silent. Your explosions are still audible though. costs 30000 creds.

    Ice Bear says the thumper should only have 1 bullet per clip. Also please specify the amount of reserve ammo. Ice Bear also would like to know the projectile speed because this weapon seems a lot like a tomahawk launcher. Ice Bear is pretty sure that weapons with arched bullets have to have perfect hipfire accuracy again this weapon will be basically a tomahawk launcher but with the added bonus of an explosion even if you miss.

    Ice Bear thinks the riot shield will be cool and balanced considering you are giving up a primary such as the ACR or sniper for a shield. The only problem Ice Bear sees is new players being confused and calling god mode or being able to quick swap with a pistol and shield quickly to block fire. Ice Bear thinks there should be some sort of weakness because flanking shield users is a lot harder than you think. Ice Bear says add some sort of weakness to the shield.

    Ice Bear thinks the Flamethrower is very problematic as the idea of allowing it to set fire to where it lands will cause your own teammates to catch fire and it will open up trolling. Ice Bear thinks the area denial it offers is a bit too strong.

    Ice Bear thinks that the recurve bow might be a bit op as there seems to be no scoping mechanic so it will have perfect hipfire. Ice Bear thinks that this again will have the same issue as the thumper and be basically a tomahawk launcher.

    Cheers ice, I've edited it accordingly, (yes Whisper does have perfect hipfire, no Thumper does not have perfect hipfire, and can be scoped in. Draco can be scoped but it does not tighten the spread. Nades and c4 still damage the player behind a Bastion shield.)

    Ice Bear thinks the thumper will be fine Ice Bear also thinks that you should be forced to scope with it to fire it have bad hipfire accuracy. Ice Bear thinks the Draco will still be problematic because it will essentially be the AA12 but shoots faster has more ammo and sets you on fire. Ice Bear also thinks that it should be able to be killed by nades and C4 regardless of direction because a shield like that can definitely not block a full grenade explosion especially if the fragments of a nade bounce around. Ice Bear also says that the Bastion should be vulnerable from explosions from any direction to have a real weakness. Ice Bear also thinks that it should have the weakness of being able to be disabled if attacked with a knife otherwise the only people able to hurt shield users will be high level players with C4 as grenades aren’t very reliable. For the Bow it should not give a speed boost as that will give too unfair of an advantage and will be hard to code especially when it has to differentiate from loaded and unloaded. Ice Bear would keep the bow as long as it doesn’t give the speed boost.

    Aye, makes sense to force scope for both draco and thumper actually. Maybe the draco should only be allowed to fire in small bursts, then need to cool down? I already intended for c4 and nades to deal the same damage to a bastion player. I can get behind the bow not giving speed, and the knife makes sense for the shield too.I'll add all this in a sec.

    Ice Bear thinks that the short bursts for the Draco will not be needed will there be any recoil on it to prevent jumping and running with it?
