Idea Assassin Stun Effect

    Now, when playing Party, one of the few gamemodes I rarely win is Assassin, mainly because there is no way to stop the person hunting you, meaning most of the time, they are chasing behind you (unless you are hiding) which actually really annoys me.

    In the real Assassins Creed, when playing this gamemode, you are able to stun the person who is trying to assassinate you by stabbing this, which makes the immobile for around the seconds being able to do no actions whatsoever, giving time for the hunted to get away and flee. I also think this should be in Assassin in Party as well, by giving blindness for 5 seconds, taking away the hunter's compass and slowness 1 to stop them from running as fast.

    However, in the real Assassins creed, if you try to stun an NPC or someone who is not your hunter, you will stunned in the same way but instead you are stunned, so it does not come without its risks, so it would do the same thing in Party as well.

    This idea has its pros and cons, so I'll name them here:
    Pros:
    • Allows for an easide method of surviving longer for the person being chased.
    • Would probably cut back on the number of people choosing to hide
    • Games would become more about strategy instead of mindless running or hiding
    Cons:
    • Games would run much longer, leading to more first place winners.
    • How would you stun them?
    • Stunning someone else means they could more easily be tagged, leading to more flaming and raging.
    • The map seems a bit small for an idea like this, especially with over 20 people per server.
    • How long would the effects last?

    It's not a bad idea by any means, but I think it's better to stick with more simplistic ideas for party due to the way their set up (fast and easy to learn).

    Con 1. I actually did have an idea while writing this saying you could only stun someone once, just forgot to type it..

    Con 2. Just by hitting them with your sword

    Con 3. I mean, after a while, it would just become part of the game. People most likely get annoyed when they fail the parkour in rainbow jump but it is just part of the game.

    Always thought assassinate needed something more to make it actually fun. Something like finding weapons around the map or other things like this.

    I think it's a good idea, but I don't know if stunning by hitting them with a sword will work that good. In the assassin creed game it's better as the one hiding know the one hunting and not the other way around like with assassinate.

    And I feel like that even if they are stunned, they will probably get the attack in as they will most of time attack at the same time.

    We could however have random snowball spawns around the map that would count as stun grenades.

    And for the effect. The effect sounds good, but we will have to see about the slowness as people are still able to run normally when they sprint and jump. We could lock them into place (stop them from moving), but then they will be an easy target. I think some experimenting should be done to see what's best.

    I was actually thinking this would be a thing you could buy from the shop to gain an advantage, but I thought I would save that idea for a different time.
