Make spawns non re-enterable

    I have seen a lot of idiots new CTF players who think that in order to capture the flag you need to walk back into spawn with it, which is very frustrating when it happens. Non re-enterable spawns should be big enough clue that you do not capture the flag by walking back into spawn with it. The spawns do not even have to be made totally non re-enterable, simply raising them by a block and a half should be good enough.

    Some spawns you can't go back in, and others ninjas and soldiers and maybe elfs can go back in spawn. Although I would like to see this happen, a lot of people go back into spawn if they need regen or have a big kill streak and need a medic, so this would prevent them from getting protection. But there needs to be more stuff that tell new players you can't go into spawn with the flag. Also this would make the regen you get in spawn useless as once you spawn you are at full health.

    The aim of the game isn't to achieve high killstreaks.
    Please read the whole thread.

    +1 please add. It's also annoying when you have kids that don't like dying so when they are losing a fight they just run back into spawn.

    its nice to be able to go back to spawn to regen health (i.e. if there isn't a medic around) instead of having to respawn. Also this would make spawnkilling mages, chemists, engineers etc. more of a problem than they already are, on certain maps. "Get good" isn't an argument -1

    although if a thing could be added that prevents you from entering spawn if you have the flag (but doesn't do anything if you don't) then I'm down for that

    Again, game objective is not about killstreaks. If you need to regenerate health you can respawn.

    CTF is a team death match so yes it is about killstreaks

    The only time killstreaks matter in this game are when too many people, or too good of people are playing the objective and the game stalemates, then you can call it team deathmatch.
    Before then tho, its all about the banners.

    My dude you don't even play this game anymore. The game objective is to capture the flag (it's in the gamemodes name). In order to capture the flag, you must steal the flag, in order to stop the other team from capping you must kill them before they steal the flag or recover the flag. There is no mention of killstreaks in there at all. Killstreaks are just an additional bonus, we shouldn't really be giving the players that focus on killstreaks anymore advantages because most of these classes are already over powered an it's not the game objective.
