    Hello Staff of Mc-WarZ,

Hello, I'm InsaneDomo. I'm an old member to your guys server and really enjoy playing WarZ. Players don't enjoy playing that much with how many players are on because players get bored and go spawn kill new people because that is the only way to find players. It won't ever grow if new players aren't getting the full experience. I believe this server can make a change if the server can get advertised/sponsored somewhere to grow again. Guarantee old players will come back and new players will have a blast. Plus the donations you'll get for your server to keep running. I don't want to be out of hand but I miss playing WarZ with full servers and enjoy meeting new players of the server plus having great battles. Please take this as a suggestion to save your WarZ Server because a lot of players missed it the way it was. Please let me know what you think?

I do agree that the right advertising could bring in some new players, however I dont believe that much we do will bring back the oldies. The same thing was said, even by the oldies, for war when 2.0 would come out. At first, a few returned and the player count was up. Now, 6 months later, we're back to where we were before, but with a slightly increased playercount.

that's because you guys didn't do anything to keep people playing war, you just released the gamemode and hoped people would stay because of that by itself

you need to constantly update the server, have events often (such as clan wars, clip competitions, gun kill competitions, etc.), and overall make people want to stay on it so they don't get bored from the repetitiveness. however, it's currently difficult to do that efficiently because there is a very small amount of developers working on brawl in its entirety.

I don't think that at the state that WarZ is right now, no players will be coming back until atleast the summer. Although you could try too with frequent updates, at this point, thinking about it from my POV (which is not to bring players back), I'd rather be updating the game towards bringing in newer people, instead of the old ones. The skill gap is huge and not enjoyable for new players.

Updates, constant fixes, new metas bring people to a scene, but an active and involving community keeps people. WarZ as a whole needs to figure out what it wants and say it. Going through WarZs community as a whole, it seems things get repetitive. Not just in gameplay or ideas, but in how people act or handle things. As a personal opinion, I think the playstyle of WarZ is what kills it. Look at Wild West, we do a task for hours for a few minutes of a fight. WarZ has a looting process for a few seconds of a fight. It's similar in design really. So what is different?

I don't know much about WarZ and I won't pretend I do either. WarZ has a huge history in Brawl and I don't wanna see it go, you guys are like Wild West long lost brother. I wanna see if I can help by spreading a few post here and there in the forums to get things going.

WarZs issue with keeping newer people. I myself found myself bored with dying in seconds of fights. The comboing and what to do seemed really alien to me and still is. Not going to lie but the whole zombie ideal has been overdone so attracting new players is not going to be easy. So let's take small steps that could help keep the few that you get.

On a pure personal level, I think having a second currency in WarZ would benefit a lot. What new players lack in skill they could combat in play time. If you play, you should be rewarded. Have safe zones that increase survival rates and have mini shops that sell gear that isn't the best but something that players can actually use.

Get a few active people together and work on changing things you think the community needs changed, voice your opinions not only through the forums, but directly through staff. Well planned out research, a backing to it, and a reason to agree with the changes. Example of a idea that seems like it could be added with the right backing.

Maybe come up with an easy way to implement this. Think like a dev, or try to make it as simple as possible. Heck, code it for them if you have to. If you have the dedication, you will find that your voice will get heard.

I see a lot of talk with old and new maps on the forums too, I see a lot of love and hate for both, which I guess is to be expected. I'm surprised that WarZ players don't just try to make their own builds and try to get them added to WarZ. You guys can be creative and adaptive like I've ever seen. Trust me, I've been dropped by you guys enough over on Wild West to know.

I think the creativity and dedication the remaining of you guys have should be enough to not only help the server stay a float but get newer players to wanna play.

unrelated side note: I dislike comboing and it is like 60% of why I don't play.

The problem is that people are getting bored of the game. When I left I had already a few builds set in, like a new spawn but never got it done. I really feel guilty when looking at the numbers WarZ was getting. I was able to atleast get like 30-40 people on a weekend but fell off and 10-20 now play. I stopped giving it attention, as to why I thought Carson would of done a better job but he was just as busy. When you look at it, WarZ is getting old for people and they are getting bored, as you said, of the constant repetitiveness of the gamemode. As to why I suggested earlier in March a system that acts like a WildWest one. Utilizing an aspect of the gamemode already, which was humanity. Making it as follows:

    1. Bandits: Bandits are the people with extremely high negative humanity, which you get through killing people. I wanted an achievement system in place, and make it so it was more of a citizen vs bandit kind of gamemode. WarZ is based off a game that zombies take over the world and people are left to fight them and if they are bad, then they fight eachother. With this achievement system, you killed a bandit and recieved credits and higher humanity. You can spend those credits to get gear and a big one, for a locker. (Locker as in a private echest you pay ingame credits for) So normal players can store valuable loot, except donators would get more space.
    2. Citizens: Having high humanity, achievement by killing bandits and zombies. As you go up in humanity, you are more targetted since that means that you killed more zombies and they are out to get you. By being a citizen, you are allowed to join clans/groups of other citizens and try fighting off against others. I also was thinking before I resigned about allowing building in certain parts of the map, but restrict what they can build. Which idk how I was gonna get that done but it was a good idea in my head.
    3. Now moving on from that, using a humanity system would promote a more friendlier gameplay and less of a kill on sight. Thats how players now play it, and thats why new players leave. They don't want and cant kill on sight against a player who has been playing for years. Which really is one of the main reasons why they leave, they die after looting for a second of gameplay.
    4. Putting a cooldown on guns. I got this idea from Fortnite. People thought double pumping was op, so I was thinking about limiting how fast people can swap guns. This would lead to longer fights, and allowing a decently high and fast gameplay option. This would make it so meta was changed, you can change from a spas-12 to an AK, faster than a spas-12 to an m10 shotgun.
    5. I also brought this up once, changing the damage output on a few guns. This would make it so certain guns don't just one shot you, if you have a reasonable amount of armor. It's absurd when you loot for hours without a way to bank, then die to a one shot. Although it's a good idea, was not popular among the community. But this also works as in, if you can't aim right, then you will lose. It's more of a high risk, high reward thing. This promotes a gameplay that is more rewarding than the current one.
Theres a ton more ideas I had but I can't put them all here. Sucks cause I'm really busy rn but these are just a few of my suggested options.

Well I'm a Oldie and I want to get back into WarZ again but it is just hard when there are no players actually pushing for the north and just chilling South for Spawn kills. I believe we could increase the server population with the help of the staff and other players trying to push to get players on. Yes, I agree summer is going to bring back players since they can be on all the time but that isn't enough for the server. I've been a mod a server that died out before and all the staff wanted to give up but I didn't so I decide to make a forums post about the server without getting in trouble with staff. Eventually the server became alive again but it takes time for players to realize it and come back on. We need to strive for that both the Staff and the WarZ Community.

I also agree with your ideas. They new input in WarZ to make it fun again or else it won't ever grow again. Like you said repetitive but find a way to make it not so repetitive. Maybe some events here in there that are PvE and PvP. PvE gets the server to group up and take on some Zombie Outbreak. Get them to work together for a special weapon or something then like a 1 Minute grace period after that. Also with PvP last person standing win of course. These are all great ideas but now to put them to use isn't the easy part.

actually, you'd be surprised at how long warz fights can last. sure, some of them can be short when you're under geared, but usually when 2 teams have the same gear they can last for even an hour or more (claiming this from experience).

But the point is WarZ Died off and nobody plays and I think the Staff could get the servers going again if they find something to make WarZ new or better.

I think you misunderstood tallscot; he was talking about a single part of the map, not the entire server.

I got his point but I was getting back to the point of this post in the first place that WarZ only has about a max of 5 to 7 players on a server at a time or less and makes the server not fun. The point of this post is finding a way to populate the servers back to where returning players that would enjoy the game will come back.

If we can get 15+ on every server again, me and my team will come back for sure. We all admit that we miss WarZ.

Remembering back to those days where there were massive fights of 30 people was amazing. This would truly be incredible if we could get at least 15-20 players on each server. I know many people who miss the old Warz days and would definitely come back to join me on another great time on Warz. (Every old player has great memories of Warz and i'm sure that this might increase their chances of coming back. Even in late teen years.)
