Small /random Improvements

    • Tell the player there's a 12 hour cooldown when they successfully do /random - in bold, and not in grey, so people notice it.
    • /random shouldn't put players in water.

    Just did /random and spawned in an ocean, so I did /spawn to do /random again. There was no indication that there was a 12 hour cooldown - no way for me to know without prior knowledge.

    12 hours? I thought it was 24.

    Is there less of a cooldown depending on what rank you have? The last time I used /random and tried to use it again, it told me I had to wait 24 hours.

    Not sure. I only just started playing the map so it was the first time I used /random - maybe you get a 12 hour cooldown the first time, and a 24 hour every other time. Regardless, this is getting off-topic.

    Well, if you looked at the raid wiki, you would’ve known this type of information. It might be a little outdated but still helpful.

    But it’s prob useful for in-game tips (like the cooldown) for raid like in CTF...

    As for the water placement, that’s kind of what /random really means. It’s random. There are usually oceans or rivers around spawn blocking the entirety of a direction from spawn. For example if there was an ocean at like (400,400), then players wouldn’t be able to discover that whole corner of the map. This would mean /random would only cover spots around that ocean consequently covering a part of the map.

    If something requires you to check the wiki for basic information about it, then it is very poorly designed.

    It makes no sense to put semantics over practicality. Regardless of what the command is called, it is used to get away from spawn more quickly than walking - and it putting players in the middle of an ocean completely defeats the point.

    Adding "There is a 12-hour cooldown" to a string takes about 10 seconds, and unless /random is badly made, it should take 30 minutes tops to add a basic check to see if the place it's teleporting a player to is water.

    Some of you are quite under appreciative, might seem like it’s not much of an important change but I can see newer players getting frustrated by not knowing that there was a cooldown on /random and leaving the server because they think it’s broken or something so that 12 hour cooldown message being made clear could be helpful. Furthermore making /random only put players on land is also beneficial for newer players because saves them the time of having to swim around which could also cause them to get frustrated or annoyed etc.
