    Hello there,
    For the month of November, we would like to try out a Zone Control event for CTF. I'm sure some of you remember zones from a while ago, but for those who don't, refer to a basic rundown below. We're all familiar with capturing flags, but how about we capture something else for a change?

    Event Description
    • There will be 3 zones located across the map in play
    • You and your team can capture zones by standing in the designated area (wool on the floor)
      • Captures are faster with more team members, but slower if enemy players step into your zone
    • Whenever a zone is captured, a message will broadcast across the screen to alert all players
      • You can also refer to the side bar to see how much percentage is needed to capture each zone
    • Once a zone is captured, teams will have to fight to defend their zones while capturing others in the process; remember, the enemy team can reclaim your own zone if you're not careful
    • The goal is to capture all 3 zones at once; if the timer ends before this, the team with the most percentage in zone captures will be victorious
    • All classes will be unlocked for this event!

    • Saturday, November 23rd 2019, at 3:00pm EST | 8:00pm UTC | 12:00pm PST
      • This is taking place on casual CTF servers, /play CTF to join at any time during the event

    We will be playing maps that are specially designed for Zone Control. The following list is our selection, feel free to check them out on Build.

    Archer and Assassin was extremely frustrating. I think it would be good in smaller numbers such as - 10-15 v 10-15, otherwise not really.

    +1 on archer being frustrating, assassin is fine you just have to be good thats all. Some of the maps had way to many points to cap making those games essentially a permanent stall, so I think the number of zones should be changed for a few of the maps to balance out the player count. I personally found it rather fun to play with more people, I felt it added to the challenge of holding zones or trying to hijack a zone from the oposing team. Also some of the maps were ****ing massive, like it would take 2 minutes to get to a zone on the other side type of massive. I feel like the maps should stay consistent with their size. An example I'd go to for maybe an ideal map size would be the pacman map. It had a nice balance of size
