Hello readers, today i'll be sharing my understanding on the factors that make a good ppm.

    1- The Maps you choose.
Obviously this is one of the bigger factors that affects the quality of the ppm you are hosting, whenever you want to pick the maps to be played, you should consider the amount of signups for your ppm. For example if you have like 10 signups, you are going to get a 5v5. A mini map would be ideal here rather than a normal map. This helps to maintain the player density, which means the average number of players per area. You would want the optimal player density for a good ppm. A low player density means less action, therefore the gameplay is boring. A high player density means that things can get chaotic.
In addition, you also want to pick the maps that is easy to navigate around, usually maps with cramped flagrooms are not a good pick.
You could try hosting a ppm with old maps, or even new maps that u want to try, but make sure they are approved by staff first.
    2- Elo balance
A player that has knowledge of the skill disparity of the player base would probably make a good ppm host. They would be familiar with most, if not everyone's, skill level, this helps them balance the teams so the games are not one sided.
3- The time you host your ppm.
Picking a convenient time where most people would most likely be available would probably mean you would get more signups for your ppm.
    4- Kit Limits
You definitely don't want a whole team playing assassin, or a team having 4 ninjas. You would want to set limits for each class, for example, a good limit for medic is two per team. That way there is one medic offending and the other defending. Having 5 medics defending would be crazy...
    5- Minigames
You can always try other minigames other than CTF, for example zone control or arena, these are other ways to enjoy the game.
    Thanks for reading
